Two Letters of St. Paul

“When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ” (Ephesians 3:4)

From his prison cell, Paul wrote what may be considered the first “encyclical” letter to the Church. We know it as the Letter to the Ephesians.

Week 8 – Brothers in Ministry (Ephesians 6:21-24)

“Paul, an apostle – not from men or through man, but through Jesus Christ…” (Galatians 1:1)

Paul met a diverse group of Christians along his journey through Galatia. He founded congregations and instructed them in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, the Galatians early succumbed to heresy: the heresy that salvation is achieved through works. Paul wrote this smoldering Epistle to remind believers how they first heard the Word, to repent of fleshly works, and serve the Church with a renewed spirit that comes solely through faith in Jesus Christ.
